Friday 9.47 p.m.
                        The auld maw said it was a shame that the Rangers were going down the pan. Well, it looks today as if they'll play on in some way. The auld maw thought the huns gave folk a lot of enjoyment. It was good to have them to beat, I must admit. During the mid seventies I was sharing a flat with some girls and I told one of them that if you were a catholic, you couldn't play for Rangers. She couldn't believe that. Them were the days!

One thing that didn't change (or at least didn't change very rapidly) was the scoreline when Glenn Turner used to bat for New Zealand.
