Happy Anniversary!!

Saturday 2:10 p.m.
                            We went to see the Keef Hartley Band in the dancehall in Stockbridge, which is no longer there. Then we went back to Bellvue Crescent to drop the half tabs of acid. I'd never dropped acid before. She said she had, but it turned out to be a smidgen in comparison. And it was only a tab split between the two of us. There was a lot of acid in the acid sometimes in them days.
                             This is from my diary.
                              'The colours etc were brilliant and at one point X's form seemed to be surrounded by a deep red flowing glistening jelly, while the immediate circumference of her body seemed to be emanating a luminous pink. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen.'
                               'We sat from half eleven (slept at half eight) till 7 p.m.just talking - brilliant communication and understanding had been set up and really out of the 24 hours, I'd spoken to her for 21 hours.'
                               That was forty years ago. I've been trying not to forget this anniversary all year. We've never marked it. I bought her a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates today.
                               Well, Jack, it's just abut the first thing I've bought her in forty years! An actual present would have probably given her the vapours!
